Do you buy the ad in the publication, or does Admedic do it?
We are not a media placement service, and do not place ads. Our specialty is creating great print ads and campaigns that get noticed and get results. When we begin your project, you’ll need to furnish us with the size of the ad or ads you will be running, all other publication specs, and contacts of the pubs you’ll be using. Upon final approval, we will send final art to either you or the publication – whichever you prefer.
What format will my ad be created?
We create all our ads on the Adobe InDesign CC 2017, but in special cases Photoshop, or Illustrator if the publication requires. We don’t create ads on the PC since the majority of publications require Mac format.
Do I get the final ad artwork?
We archive your ads, and will e-mail you the final version as a high resolution PDF. This is the most widely accepted format, though we can provide you or the publication the native file (ie. Adobe InDesign or Illustrator) for an additional pre-flight fee of $65.
Who owns the final artwork?
Your final approved ad and artwork is yours, and ownership rights transfer to you upon payment and delivery. Note that we typically send multiple design options to choose from, but the rights only transfer once the upon final payment.
How much would it be to make changes to my ads at a later date?
We charge a flat rate of $50 per ad for ad resizing. For changes other than resizes, we charge $65/hr, with a $95 minimum. The typical charge for revisions varies depending on the extent of your changes, so please contact us and we’ll be happy to provide a quote prior to beginning work.
What will my project cost?
Most projects fall under our fixed rate price structure and include unlimited revisions until you are completely satisfied. Visit our pricing page for more details. Pricing may vary depending on the specific requirements of your project.
Once I submit my order to Admedic, what happens next?
After submitting your design request, we will send you deposit payment information. The $50 deposit can be made via PayPal or credit card (Visa, Amex or Mastercard). Upon receipt of your deposit, we will contact you by phone or email (or both) to gather background material needed to produce your new ad. In most cases we offer a short, step-by-step form that helps you easily organize your information. With this information in hand, we will complete multiple design options within 3-5 business days (rush service available). You can then suggest changes, see revisions, and narrow it to your final, approved project. Upon completion, we request final payment, due upon receipt of final artwork.
How long will my project take to complete?
Standard turnaround is 2-3 business days and Rush is 24 hours (please check for availability). Actual turnaround times depend on our current work volume. Rush is 200% of our standard pricing. Note that turnaround times are only for the initial round of designs — extra time may be required depending on client feedback, revisions and final production requirements. The best rule of thumb is plan ahead so you can avoid missed deadlines and extra charges.
Do you provide other services besides print ad production?
